How the sacred interface of the eye, ear, and recitation bridges the human self to higher consciousness.
Aligning the Human Self: Activating the Heart Through Divine Connection
The human self consists of three essential gears: the body, the mind, and the heart. Each of these must connect to the spirit, the guiding force linked to the divine order of the universe. Without this connection, the gears lose their synchronicity, pulling us backward instead of allowing forward motion toward our purpose.
The heart, as the center of the human self, plays a critical role. It is not activated by mere rituals or empty actions but through the moral conscience, nurtured by the eye and the ear. The eye takes in divine order through sacred geometry, the Quran’s written form, or harmonious images in nature. The ear absorbs divine vibration through the Quran’s recitation, nature’s sounds, and the rhythm of dhikr.
Dhikr, while feeding the heart with positive attributes, serves as an interface. It is the recitation of the Quran, particularly Surah Yasin, that brings the heart to life, creating a bridge between the human self and the divine. Dua strengthens this connection, guiding the moral conscience and activating the heart in alignment with the universe’s higher order.
When the body, mind, and heart align with divine guidance, the human self transcends its animal inclinations. This alignment ensures we are not swept away by the deceptive pull of sensory distractions but move steadily toward enlightenment. Each gear must work in harmony, activated at the right time and in the right way, ensuring our spiritual motion propels us forward.
